Ya know what another word for awkward is? Unique. Do you know what unique people do? They make a change. Think about someone who really made a difference in the world. Why did they make a difference? Because they saw something differently than others. They were just weird enough to see that something could be done differently. The reason they stick out from the rest of the crowd is they don’t fit in. They’re weird and awkward and different. Weird people change the world. Different people change the world. Unique people change the world.
Never discriminate against odd people. They’re incredible. God has gifted them with the ability to see things in a different way. That’s awesome. Odd people change things. If you open up to them, they might show you a different way to look at something. It just might change your life. The point of this is, don’t shun odd people. Talk to them. Get to know them. Take a look at things from their perspective. It might change your world.
What if you were created so you would compliment that one girl. Maybe, because you complimented her, she won’t go home and kill herself. Maybe, because you showed her a little bit of love, she’ll think that life is worth it. Never lose a moment when you could share the love of Christ. It could save someone’s life. Physically or eternally. Your words are that important.
If I painted a picture, and I painted each stroke with a purpose and a plan, if I put a world of thought into each brushstroke, wouldn’t I love that picture? Not because of what it would do for me, but simply because I made it. Wouldn’t I be proud of it? God made you. He made you with purpose and a plan for you to prosper. He put a world of thought into writing your life story. He loves you. He loves you not because of what you’ll do for Him but simply because He made you. Powerful stuff, y’all.
Like…seriously. I always think of the best things to say and the best Scriptures to represent my point after the debate. I’ve got to get more on top of things.
